Day 1

Despite the lack of sleep for over 32 hours and our rooms smelling like rotten eggs due to the high, but safe, amounts of sulfur in the water, today was our first full day in Reykjavik, Iceland. Right off the plane, we went to the Blue Lagoon and got the chance to relax in Iceland's number one natural wonder. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to rest in the naturally heated pools that i will always remember and cherish. In order to keep us awake and on the Iceland time zone, we were always doing something to keep our minds and our cameras busy. These activities included exploring the heart of Reykjavik and its people which is seen in the above pictures. Not only are the people so nice, but the kids are the cutest and love to be photographed! I am enjoying getting to know the Icelandic culture and can't wait for more encounters as we explore more of the city tomorrow.
